Some candid video footage of Marilyn Monroe while she is on the movie set of her last movie was being sold at an auction of movie memorabilia. It sold for $60,000.

The two reels of silent, 8-millimeter color film shot on the set of “The Misfits” had been expected to draw starting bids of between $10,000 and $20,000. The auction also included the original disco ball from “Saturday Night Fever” and an original script of “The Godfather” signed by Marlon Brando. The sale was held by Julien’s Auctions at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Emma Watson is the female star in the hit movie films “Harry Potter”. The British actress has finally turned 18 and because of this she is now in control of the $20 million that she has made so far and she now is able to make her own choices on the jobs that she takes.

She has signed a two year contract to be the ambassador for Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume. She will be replacing Keira Knightley.

Katie Holmes will be starring in the Broadway show “All My Sons” along with Patrick Wilson and John Lithgow. The show’s producers confirmed the news this week.

Manhattan’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre will be the site of the production, which will begin rehearsals in August, open for previews on Sept. 18 and run from Oct. 16 to Jan. 11.

Cyd Charisse was a famous actress and dancer who often partnered up with some of the most famous leading men that included Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly in many of the 1950’s musicals. She died Tuesday in the Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from a heart attack. She was 86 years old.

Hollywood Today interviewed Billy Bob Thornton while he was on his way to sign his CD’s right after he gave a live performance at Borders Book store in Westwood. During the interview they asked him what he plans were for his dream of becoming the world’s next “bad boy” of rock ‘n roll. His response was “Oh no! I’m a family man first and a rock star second.”

Family and friends gathered together in order to remember the late actor, director, and Oscar winning producer Sydney Pollack during a memorial service that is private and unseen from the eyes of photographers. The service gave close family some privacy to mourn.

73 year old Sydney Pollack died from cancer May 26th and was surrounded by his close family while at his home in Los Angeles, California. He had been diagnosed with cancer nine months earlier.

Warren Beatty is a talented actor that has starred in several critically acclaimed movies and has also directed and produced others. Some of his movies include ‘Dick Tracy’, ‘Heaven Can Wait’, and ‘Bonnie & Clyde’. Last week the 71 year old actor was given the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

15 year old Demi Lovato was asked to sit with a few high-powered executives from Disney to discuss her new singing and acting career after she had submitted an audition tape. They called her into to discuss her starring in a few Television pilots.

Witnesses have seen Lindsay Lohan hanging out and ‘getting close’ with her close friend Samantha Ronson. Many are under the impression that the two are a couple and are calling Lohan a ‘modern gay hero’. At this time Lohan has not confirmed or denied these reports.

The two girls were spotted and photographed during a party on P. Diddy’s yacht in Cannes. During the party the two were seen kissing without any shame and for everyone to see. They were also spotted together in Chicago, New York, and L.A.
