Mackenzie Phillips was released from jail after paying out $10,000 in bail money. She was arrested for the possession of a heroine and cocaine on Wednesday. She was taken into custody in Los Angeles at the LAX airport at 10 a.m.

She had reportedly failed a routine security screening, which prompted a secondary search. According to Los Angeles Airport Police Sgt. Jim Holcomb: “A balloon and a plastic bag containing a small amount of heroin and cocaine” were recovered.

15 year old Demi Lovato was asked to sit with a few high-powered executives from Disney to discuss her new singing and acting career after she had submitted an audition tape. They called her into to discuss her starring in a few Television pilots.

Jessica Alba has decided to spread her wings and take the world of Broadway by storm. Rumor has it that she will be starring in a play by Michael Riedel called ‘Speed-the-Plow’ in the spring of 2008. The play is about the twisted lives of two big time producers and their attractive secretary (Alba).
