Emma Watson Takes On New Challenges Outside Of “Potter”
Emma Watson is the female star in the hit movie films “Harry Potter”. The British actress has finally turned 18 and because of this she is now in control of the $20 million that she has made so far and she now is able to make her own choices on the jobs that she takes.
She has signed a two year contract to be the ambassador for Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume. She will be replacing Keira Knightley.
A source revealed, “Emma [Watson] has been excitedly telling friends that she is going to be taking over fom Keira. Emma has been slowly integrated into the Chanel brand.”
But that isn’t it. She will also be starring in her first movie since “Harry Potter”. She will be starring in Napoleon and Betsy the period dramas. Johansson was supposed to be in the dramas – but was asked to back out because the role was too young for her.
She is going to produce the film while Watson will play Betsy Balcombe, a young noblewoman who falls for Napoleon during his exile to St Helena. Filming begins this autumn.
