In 2004 Kiefer Sutherland filed for divorce from his wife on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. Over four years later the actor is now officially divorced. Kiefer Sutherland married Elizabeth Kelly Winn in 1996 and separated in 1999. Sutherland – 41 – and Winn – 46 – had no children together.

This is the second divorce for Sutherland, who was previously married for three years to actress Camelia Kath, with whom he has a daughter.

The actor is well known for his role as counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer in television series “24,” a portrayal which has earned him several awards, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and a Golden Globe for Best Actor.
