Nicole Richie And Christina Aguilera Babies’ Share Birthday
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were overjoyed to welcome their new baby girl – Harlow Winter Kate Madden to the world Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. That same day Christina Aguilera and Jorden Bratman also gave birth to their baby in the very same hospital. Aguilera has not yet reported the sex of their child.
Richie’s adoptive father Lionel Richie and half sister, Sophie, were seen visiting the hospital before the birth, as was Madden’s Good Charlotte bandmate and brother Benji. The baby girl reportedly weighed about three kilograms and was healthy enough to go straight home.
“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents,” a spokesman for the couple said. Richie, 26, is famous for her party-hopping lifestyle and stick-thin figure. But despite her reputation for being a party girl, she has done her best to put that life behind her in the lead-up to the birth of her first child.
“I owe this baby everything, and I have a responsibility now for someone else,” she said in August. “I have to set the right examples. I want to be the best parent I can be. I would really want to be someone my child would look up to.”
