Despite the rumors on the Internet Miley Cyrus stated in an official release that she has no plans to break her contract with Disney and will continue filming on the hit series “Hannah Montana”. “I am fully committed to ‘Hannah Montana.’ It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people,” the pop star and actress told People magazine. “I couldn’t do it alone. We have an amazing cast that is so supportive, including my dad (Billy Ray Cyrus) who has been there for me every step of the way.”

Actress Hilary Swank is recovering this weekend after undergoing a medical procedure to remove a small benign growth. A rep for the Oscar winning actress stated Thursday that she suspected something was wrong when started to have certain problems.

“She was experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization” to eliminate the growth, Swank’s manager, Jason Weinberg, said in a statement. “Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation,” Weinberg said.

The producers of “Fifty Dead Men Walking” - an IRA drama - have chosen to cut themselves off from actress Rose McGowan (Charmed). While at the Toronto Film Festival McGowan told reporters that she would have gladly joined the Irish Republican Army if she had lived in Belfast during the time of the Troubles. She went on to say that she understood the reaction of the people and why they thought violence was their only option.

Kanye West - along with his bodyguard - was arrested at LAX in front of the security checkpoint for the American Airlines terminal 4 this morning. The two were preparing to fly to Honolulu, Hawaii when Kanye spotted a photographer taking pictures of him.

After spotting the paparazzo Kanye approached him and grabbed the camera away from him and smashed it into the ground. While this was happening a photographer from TMZ (Erik) began videotaping the whole thing. That is when Don (the bodyguard) spotted Erik and began to take his camera away from him.

Minnie Driver has finally given birth to a healthy baby boy. Her rep told Usmagazine.com that the 38 year old British actress gave birth to 9 pounds 12 ounces Henry Story Driver who was born in Los Angeles on Friday.

Minnie Driver quickly denied rumors that the boy’s father was the musician Craig Zolezzi - but would not say who the real father was. The only details she gave was that the father was English and that he was “sort of in the same business”.

Tommy Lee Jones will be suing the makers of “No Country For Old Men” for over $10 million. He said in the suit that they owe him that much for starring in the 2007 film. The lawsuit is against Paramount Pictures specifically.

They claim that Jones was promised a “significant box office bonus” and also other compensation that they say all depended on the success of the film.
